The occupational therapy department within the area of Occupational Therapy and Physiotherapy at Sahlgrenska University Hospital consists of 4 units (Högsbo, Mölndal, Sahlgrenska, and Östra Hospital) within somatic inpatient and outpatient care.

The entire department has a total of 370 employees, of which 120 are occupational therapists. We are looking for new employees for the summer. We offer summer temporary positions with the possibility of permanent employment.

What does a workday look like?

As an occupational therapist, you will work in outpatient and/or inpatient care. You will work with assessment, treatment, and interventions for patients with various conditions and diagnoses, aiming to utilize and develop physical, psychological, and social functions, as well as skills and abilities related to the person's daily life. You will work both independently and in teams with other professionals. We are looking for colleagues in areas such as geriatrics, hand rehabilitation, medicine/surgery, neurology, orthopedics, and stroke.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for you who are a licensed occupational therapist or who will graduate by June 2026. You are engaged, curious, and positive. Personal qualities will be highly valued in the recruitment process.
