About the Job
Our nurse currently working at the BVC and health center is retiring – therefore, we need to recruit. Your tasks at the BVC are varied; you will follow children and their guardians from newborn until school health care takes over. You have a central role in meeting families' needs, making medical and nursing assessments and priorities, conducting health checks, and providing vaccinations. You work health-promoting, advisory, and treatment-oriented both via phone, home visits, digital health meetings, and at the clinic.
Collaboration occurs in interdisciplinary teams at the health center, and cooperation also takes place with external care providers such as preschools, schools, family centers, and specialist healthcare. Educating future colleagues is an important and rewarding part of our mission, so supervising students is also included in your role at the health center.
The role also includes work at the health center as a district nurse, which encompasses the general medical area where you meet patients of all ages and situations, through both acute and planned activities. You work health-promoting, advisory, and treatment-oriented in primary care, both via phone, home visits, digital health meetings, and at the clinic.
About You
You are a licensed nurse with specialist training as a district nurse. It is advantageous if you have experience working with children and youth and/or have supervisor training of 7.5 credits, but we also welcome you as a recent graduate.
We are looking for someone who takes initiative in their work and is confident in making their own decisions. You are meticulous, have good problem-solving skills, and can effectively prioritize among your tasks.
In your work, you meet many patients, so it is important that you are accommodating, attentive, and have a desire to help others. We also believe that you thrive in teamwork, and for you, it is a given to collaborate with colleagues and other contacts. You can express yourself well in both speech and writing, and a professional approach and a good attitude towards customers, patients, and colleagues are self-evident for you. We would also like you to have an interest in digitalization and business development.

Other Information
The position is divided with approximately 50% working hours each at BVC and VC.
Travel in the job occurs, a B driver's license is required.
Interviews at the health center will be held continuously.

About the Recruitment Process
The selection is done in two steps. The first selection is made by recruiters in the HR department who invite candidates to a phone interview. Then the recruiting manager makes a second selection of the applicants and invites them for an interview at the health center.
We use competency-based interviews, which means that the answers to the questions should be based on actual situations. It is important that you describe as concrete situations as possible and try to avoid generalized answers – this is so we can understand the situation, why you acted as you did, and what the outcome was.
