JOB DESCRIPTION

We are now looking for more hourly employed nurses who want to work in elderly care, both in special housing and in home care.

In Hörby Municipality, we work cross-professionally around the patient. This means that we have a team-based approach with the patient in focus, where you as a nurse work closely with, for example, care staff, occupational therapists, and physiotherapists. In your unit, you will work alongside several other nursing colleagues.

Your basic tasks as a nurse in the municipality include assessing, deciding, following up, evaluating, documenting, planning, delegating, and leading interventions within your area of expertise. You are also responsible for ensuring that medical orders and treatments are carried out. Furthermore, you should be able to inform, educate, and guide other care staff and relatives. You will also work on quality development and quality assurance of the operations within your area in collaboration with unit managers and/or with the MAS.

As a person, you are responsible, action-oriented, and positive. You enjoy having many balls in the air at the same time and are good at prioritizing your tasks. You have a good demeanor and a strong patient focus.

QUALIFICATIONS

You need to be a licensed nurse to be considered for the position. We prefer that you have a couple of years of professional experience as a nurse. Experience from similar operations is an advantage.

A driver's license is a requirement.
