Leksandsbostäder is a municipal company with a big heart and a clear mission – to create safe and pleasant living environments for everyone living and working in Leksand. We own over 1,000 apartments and 40 premises, mainly office spaces and special housing. In addition to our own properties, we are responsible for the municipality's buildings, including schools, preschools, cultural centers, and municipal houses, as well as the maintenance of outdoor environments such as streets, parks, and public spaces.

We are now looking for a Controller who wants to help develop our operations and contribute to our ongoing journey towards sustainability and digitalization.

Your Responsibilities

As a Controller at Leksandsbostäder, you will play a central role in our financial team. You will work with budgeting, follow-up, and year-end closing, and be an important partner for managers and budget holders in creating understanding of financial reports and providing a basis for well-informed decisions. The role also involves driving the development of our financial processes and reporting tools, where Power BI is a key component.

You will be part of an engaged team that collaborates closely with the CFO and other employees in the finance function to develop the organization and contribute to digitalization and sustainability. Your work includes following up on financial goals, developing the reporting structure, and providing strategic insights. You will stay updated on new technical solutions and see opportunities to improve our systems and processes.

Sustainability is a natural part of your work, where you integrate environmental, social, and economic perspectives into decision-making. You will keep the process together and support the organization in following up on goals and activities from our business plan in a structured and efficient manner.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone with a relevant academic degree in economics and experience in controller work, preferably with a focus on operational management. You have good knowledge of Excel and it is an advantage if you have worked with Power BI. To succeed in this role, you are analytical and structured, while also having a pedagogical ability to explain finance. We believe you are curious and solution-oriented, with a humble approach to work. You are strategic and proactive, and have an easy time building good relationships.

Experience in the real estate industry, public housing, or municipal operations, as well as work with process development, digitalization, and preferably also Hypergene is a merit. A B driver's license is required.
