The Social Administration is responsible for providing support, care, and assistance to people at different stages of life. We work based on individual needs and offer interventions based on, among other things, the Social Services Act (SoL), the Act on Support and Service for Certain Disabled Persons (LSS), and the Health and Medical Services Act.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a 1st social worker, you have a leading role within the social services and act as support and supervisor for social workers in their daily work. You are responsible for ensuring that case handling is carried out according to applicable legislation, guidelines, and quality requirements. In your work, you create conditions for a legally secure and safe case handling and work for a good working environment in the unit. Your role is central in leading development and quality work and contributing to the organization meeting set goals. The job responsibilities include:

• Providing professional support and supervision to social workers in case handling and assisting them in complex and difficult cases, for example, within LVM and/or co-occurring disorders.
• Reading investigations, monitoring legislation, new guidelines, and court rulings.
• Participating in follow-up and quality work to develop routines, processes, and work methods.
• Supporting the unit manager in planning and work environment issues and being involved in creating a good working environment in the unit.
• Working based on the organization's values and with a respectful approach that creates safety and trust among both staff and clients.

The staff group consists of both experienced employees who have worked in the unit for a long time and employees with less experience.

QUALIFICATIONS

As a person, you are secure, stable, and analytical. You have a good ability to supervise, support, and motivate colleagues, while also being able to work in a structured and legally secure manner. Your collaboration skills allow you to build good relationships both internally and externally, and you actively contribute to a positive working environment.

We also see that you have:

• A degree in social work or another behavioral science degree that the employer assesses as equivalent (knowledge of social law is a requirement)
• Experience of authority exercise within social services, preferably experience with the target group of harmful use, dependency, and social psychiatry.
• Good knowledge of social services legislation, administrative law, and relevant regulations
• Good knowledge of legislation and new guidelines
