Experienced Economist for a Broad and Customer-Centric Role in Our Customer Service Team

We are now looking for a confident, self-sufficient, and flexible economist with broad expertise who wants to work in a varied role. You will be a key person in our Customer Service Team – where finance, customer dialogue, and processes meet in practice.
About the Role
This is not a purely financial role, but a broad position where your base is in finance – but where you will also work closely with our customers and manage different parts of their projects. You will be an important part of our Customer Service Team, where structure, service mindset, and overall understanding are crucial.
Examples of Responsibilities:
- Ongoing bookkeeping, reconciliations, and some reporting
- Order management and invoicing
- Participate in and manage customer projects – where you act as the contact person from order to invoicing (may include, for example, raw material purchases and input materials, delivery coordination, follow-up, and settlements)
- Regular contact with customers via email and phone – regarding deliveries, product inquiries, and financial matters
- Support in the work around our small factory shop "Skafferiet", where we meet a few customers per day
You will work closely with our sales department, production planning, finance, and factory manager – and have a varied everyday life where customer focus and process understanding are central.
Who We Are Looking For
Must-Have Requirements – You Must Have This to Be Considered for the Position:
- At least 3 years of experience working in finance (e.g., as an accounting assistant, financial accountant, or equivalent that we deem relevant)
- Good knowledge of invoicing and ongoing bookkeeping, as well as accustomed to creating financial follow-ups with ongoing evaluations and proposing measures regarding these.
- IT: Good general computer skills regarding email management, very good experience working in business or financial systems, and very good knowledge of Excel and other Office programs.
- Language: Fluent Swedish in speech and writing, good ability to communicate in both speech and writing in English.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize, and take personal responsibility
- Service-oriented and communicative – you enjoy solving problems and find it easy to collaborate within your own organization, as well as with external partners.
Desirable Qualifications:
- Experience with the financial system Briljant
- Experience participating in or driving customer projects that involve purchasing, invoicing, or coordination
- Experience from smaller companies where one often has a broad role
- Experience with customer contact in the grocery trade or other B2B operations
