As a calculation specialist, you will produce business-related calculations and cost estimates to support bids in the private sector and across all service areas, even when the data is limited. You will work closely with both the sales and operations organizations and contribute to developing both calculation models and working methods. Your tasks

As a calculation specialist, you are responsible for developing and furthering business-related calculations for the private sector across all service areas where Samhall operates. You ensure that our bids and business proposals are based on well-founded analyses, realistic cost estimates, and cost bases in the bidding process.

In the role, you interpret the scope of assignments and identify the information needed to produce an accurate calculation. In some cases, complete data may be lacking, and you need to be pragmatic, make relevant assumptions, and clearly highlight risks. To create long-term traceability and transparency, it is also important that you document your assumptions and calculations in a structured manner.

You will also contribute to developing our calculation models, tools, and working methods, and collaborate closely with sales and operations teams to support and improve our business decisions.

Worth noting

The position is based at Samhall's office in Linköping. We offer the possibility of remote work a couple of days a week, but we prefer that you are regularly present to contribute to the energy and dynamics of our team.

Our expectations

We are looking for someone with a relevant university degree in economics and experience in calculations, controlling, or analysis. You work in a structured manner and document assumptions and calculations to ensure traceability. You are accustomed to working in Excel and preferably also in other analytical tools, such as Power BI.

As a person, you have good analytical skills, enjoy collaboration, and communicate clearly in cross-functional teams. You express yourself well in Swedish, both spoken and written, and have good knowledge of English. Experience in procurement and pricing, particularly in service areas such as cleaning, laundry, or property management, is an advantage.
