Do you want to contribute to making cultural heritage and history accessible to as many people as possible? Then you could be our new colleague! You have experience and expertise in interaction and experience design, experience in developing multimodal interfaces, and a strong commitment to user research, usability, and accessibility. With us, you will have the opportunity to work closely with both users and experts to create meaningful and inclusive experiences. Currently, we are focusing on how AI can be integrated into our work to enhance the museum experience for our visitors – so it is a plus if you share this interest.

The role will be part of the Communication and Exhibitions department with a multidisciplinary team of over thirty people, including project managers, communicators, designers, photographers, and digital strategists. The department is responsible for collaborating with other departments in the organization to drive and develop the authority's exhibition activities, media production, communication and marketing, as well as public websites and digital channels.

  • Coordination in collaboration with a digital agency and participation in the pilot project for an AI-driven conversational guide.
  • Analysis and follow-up of user experiences – in exhibitions and for digital guides. Prepare, conduct, and analyze user interviews and usability tests
  • Conducting market monitoring, for example regarding immersive media
  • Participation in idea generation processes and feasibility studies for projects

Qualifications

  • Experience in interaction design and multimodal interfaces
  • Experience in analyzing user behavior and needs through qualitative and quantitative research methods
  • Experience working according to WCAG
  • Proficiency in methods and tools within the design field, such as idea development and prototype development
  • Education focused on UX design, interaction design, or equivalent professional experience that we consider comparable

Desirable

  • Experience in ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities
  • Experience with AI applications for interactivity in digital interfaces
  • Experience analyzing data trails using tools like Google Analytics, Matomo, and Hotjar
  • Education in the humanities and pedagogy

About You

The role involves collaboration with various departments, professions, and individuals, so it is important that you have good collaboration skills. You are good at structuring, organizing, and planning work processes. You are also used to working independently based on goals and deadlines and have experience collaborating with various suppliers and partners. You are proficient in both Swedish and English, both spoken and written. As a colleague, you are social, engaged, curious, and solution-oriented. You are eager to learn and have a knack for picking up new skills. We place great importance on personal qualities.
