Your new job

Tråsättraskolan is a 6-9 school with approximately 420 students. From grade 7, students can apply to one of the school's profiles, which focus on music and English.

Relationship-building and clear structure are some of our guiding principles. As part of this, we participate in a research study at Uppsala University, IBIS. We also participate in Erasmus exchanges with schools in Spain and Germany. The school has a well-functioning structure for digitalization and student laptops, combined with physical teaching materials. The aim is to create conditions for a desire to learn and greater involvement in the learning process, especially for students in need of special support.

For several years, we have focused on language development and reading, and we have a well-equipped school library.

As an employee at Tråsättraskolan, you will help make a difference in students' lifelong learning. Our operations are characterized by a positive outlook, and we have a strong belief in the students' competencies.

As a librarian, you also have a pedagogical role to engage in teaching alongside the students. You are knowledgeable in guiding students on how to effectively search online and in databases, as well as finding relevant books. You are also knowledgeable about source criticism and support students' development in this area. You collaborate closely with the school's Swedish teachers.

As a mathematics resource teacher, you support the regular teaching teachers in mathematics instruction with the students. You are knowledgeable and interested in mathematics.

Your profile

You are a trained librarian or have equivalent competence. You also have good knowledge of mathematics and are interested in the subject.

• Good leadership qualities and is clear and structured
• Good ability to meet young people at both group and individual levels
• A genuine interest in students and their development
• Good IT skills and experience documenting work in an administrative system
