We are looking for a number of sound technicians for our summer season. As a sound technician, you will be involved in the planning and execution of one or more of Parkteatern's productions during the summer. Planning takes place in consultation with the stage manager and Parkteatern's stage chief. In addition to operating performance sound, the sound technician is also responsible for setting up and taking down sound equipment at each new performance location.

You will be part of a team and are responsible for ensuring that the team takes overall responsibility for Parkteatern's operations. This means that everyone must be able to support each other and pitch in, even with work outside of regular duties. The work takes place outdoors in all weather conditions. Therefore, keep in mind that there may be various lifts and that the work shift can become dirty, heavy, and may need to be carried out in rubber boots. Parkteatern is looking for both A and B sound technicians.

A-sound: Operate performance sound (live sound) including spoken theater, singing, and music programs

B-sound: Responsible for backline, miking, and service before, during, and after the performance

Communicate with guest performances regarding sound technology (adapt technical specifications)

Participate in set construction and infrastructure work around the performance location.

Experience working as a sound technician and it is advantageous if you have touring experience, especially from Parkteatern

Sound technical education or equivalent experience

Touring experience, especially from Parkteatern, B, BE and/or C driver's license, forklift license, and documented experience in CPR are advantageous.
