As an Optimize Operator you ensure a smooth and functioning fulfillment operation, directly contributing to the efficiency of pickers and re-stockers. Your main focus is to minimize issues for operations and ensure that they have the right products with the right space around them.

However, almost as important, is the work on the restock side in which you are expected to question it if inventory levels are not in line with what the warehouse has been designed for, as well as products in the assortment that don’t sell.

In this position, you will leverage data insights, such as sales forecasts and historical trends, to make informed decisions about product placement, shelf capacities, and optimal storage locations. You will be responsible for physically rearranging products for optimal placement, maintaining organized and visually supportive storage areas, and ensuring smooth introduction and discontinuation of products. Additionally, you will support warehouse projects, campaigns, and sampling initiatives, while regularly performing safety checks and ensuring adherence to operational standards.

• Optimizing the product placement to maximize efficiency by continuously analyzing forecasts data and historical sales and physically rearranging products together with input from operations.

• Analyzing capacities and restocks including medium and high runner products and ensure correct placement.

• Maintaining the physical appearance of picking shelves and storage locations to ensure functionality, scanability, and visual support.

• Supporting in introducing new products by finding optimal locations and by following the discontinuation processes.

• Continuously analyzing station load and loop balance to ensure an even workload for the pickers.

• Collaborating and challenging Commercial in introducing campaigns and samples and “way of working” to achieve the best outcome.

• Analyzing capacities and restocks for weekly campaigns and samples.

• Supporting the optimization of storage.

• Providing effective support for warehouse projects and process improvements, ensuring smooth product transitions and optimized storage solutions.

• Actively building strong, collaborative relationships across teams, positioning yourself as a trusted and proactive team member.

• Constantly working towards minimal disruptions during picking/restocking processes.

• Actively collaborating with the Commercial and Procurement teams to execute campaigns and samples, while challenging existing processes to achieve better outcomes.

• Excelling at analyzing sales forecasts, historical trends, and operational data to make informed decisions about product placement, shelf capacities, and storage optimization.

• Proficiency in MS Excel or Google sheet.

• Strong analytical mindset with proven ability to work independently to interpret data and make informed decisions.

• Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a warehouse team, contributing to a supportive and cooperative environment.

• Understanding of LEAN principles.

• Flexibility in working hours (as sometimes work needs to be done outside of regular working hours).

• Fluency in English, Swedish is a great plus!
