Bromma Parish is looking for a qualified organist, at least B-level, who, together with our three other church musicians, wants to help drive the parish's musical development work. The position primarily involves playing at services and church ceremonies, as well as developing the choir activities in the worship life of Bromma Church. There is some room for adaptation based on profile and competence.

Bromma Parish is one of Stockholm's fastest-growing parishes with a rich, vibrant worship and music life and engaged parish members. In Bromma Church (which is Stockholm's oldest building still in use), a new mechanical organ by Bergenblad and Jonsson (23 stops, combination system) was installed in 2020 to better meet the high expectations for good organ music during services and church ceremonies.

You have good social skills, are a versatile musician, a good pedagogue, and have the ability to translate your competence into practical action. You are well-grounded in the worship life of the Church of Sweden. In Bromma Parish, there is an engaged team of 35 employees. In Ängby, there is a new parish house and a growing operation.

Interviews and auditions are scheduled for February 16 and 17, 2026. Start date is June 1, 2026, or by agreement. A probationary period may apply.
