About the position

On behalf of our client, we at Perido are looking for a technical writer. The company is a world-leading provider of transport solutions and, together with partners and customers, they are driving the transition to a sustainable transport system. The position is based at the client’s office in Södertälje, with the possibility to work remotely two days a week.

Your responsibilities

As a technical writer, you will work with Workshop Manuals within R&D. The assignment mainly covers areas such as electric vehicles (batteries, charging, electric machines) and conventional transmission. The work takes place in a team of three technical writers and in close collaboration with method engineers in several teams, who develop the fundamental repair methods to be described. The role requires the ability to understand and adapt the content to the right level of description and quality for the customer, as well as to acquire terminology and basic technical aspects.

Important personal qualities for the role include strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate clearly with cross-functional teams. A structured and solution-oriented approach is essential for managing complex technical information, while adaptability and a willingness to learn support work in a rapidly changing environment.
