Custodian / Allround Employee with Technical Responsibility (50 %)

We are now looking for a practical, technically skilled and service-oriented allround employee for our cultural center run by a non-profit association. This is an operational part-time role for you who enjoy making things work in everyday life – both behind the scenes and in meetings with people.

With us, no day is the same. The role can be described as a combination of custodian, technical support, and host for the house, with ample room for personal responsibility, initiative, and creativity.

Please note: This is not a typical conference technician position. The role is broad and operational and also includes practical work, daily management of premises, and technical support in our operations and our digital lab.

About the role

You are an important part of the daily operations and are responsible for ensuring that premises, technology, and equipment function as they should. When something needs to be repaired, built, connected, or solved practically, it is often you who takes charge. At the same time, you are also a host for the house and a face to the outside world where you contribute to a safe, welcoming, and professional environment for visitors, participants, and partners.

We place great importance on work ethic, responsibility, and attendance, as the role is crucial for the daily operations of the organization.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Is handy, solution-oriented, and technically skilled
  • Has a clear technical interest

  • Has a strong work ethic and takes responsibility for your tasks
  • Is easy to collaborate with and flexible
  • Is proactive and preferably creative
