Job Responsibilities

Open care for children and youth aged 0-20 years is part of the early intervention section.

We primarily work with assessed assistance measures and are tasked with providing support and treatment to children and their caregivers. The section has a distinct child focus that we want to permeate all the interventions we offer to improve the upbringing conditions for children and youth in Värnamo Municipality. Depending on the nature of the assignments, the therapists are trained in various methods, divided into two groups with equivalent focuses. We work both individually and together with others in the section based on how the assignments look. The position is scheduled for days, evenings, and weekends.

The open care for children and youth consists of a unit manager, two group leaders, eight family therapists, five treatment assistants, a specially qualified contact person, and two therapists. We are facing a transition based on the new Social Services Act, where we will be an easily accessible, knowledge-based, and preventive social service. Do you want to be part of this change journey?

Qualifications

You need to have a degree in social work or a higher education that the employer assesses as equivalent. Experience in similar tasks is an advantage.
