Adult Unit

At the Adult Unit, we work with assessed assistance interventions, advice and support measures, as well as preventive and outreach work. We strive to develop a systematic and evidence-based approach to make a real difference in people's lives.

The Adult Unit is now looking for a Housing Coordinator who wants to help develop the municipality's housing social work. This position is a key role where you will be responsible for coordinating efforts around sublease contracts, training apartments, and emergency apartments, as well as leading eviction prevention work.

Your Responsibilities

As a Housing Coordinator, you will:

Be responsible for the coordination and management of sublease contracts, training apartments, and emergency apartments.
Lead and develop eviction prevention work.
Collaborate with other municipal operations, landlords, and external actors to ensure safe and sustainable housing solutions.
Be responsible for contract writing, terminations, and handling disturbance cases.
Contribute to the development of the operation and the implementation of the Housing First method.
Lead the local housing group and report data and statistics to the unit manager.
Lead the Adult Unit's preventive work and, if necessary, cover for the unit's other coordinators during their absence.

Your Qualifications

We are looking for someone with a degree in social work or equivalent higher education that the employer assesses as equivalent. You have previous experience working with adults in vulnerable life situations. You have good knowledge of the Social Services Act and are accustomed to interpreting legislation and guidelines in your work. A B driver's license is also required for this position.

We consider it an advantage if you have previous experience in leadership, work management, collaboration, and group processes, as well as experience working with harmful use and addiction. Training in the Housing First method is also seen as an advantage.

We place great emphasis on your personal qualities and see that for this position you need to be structured and organized with the ability to prioritize and plan. You need to have a pronounced ability to collaborate and be a relationship builder. The position requires you to be flexible and solution-oriented while also being driven and proactive with the ability to inspire others.
