About the client:

For this assignment, we are looking for a personal assistant for an elderly man who lives with his wife between Borgholm and Färjestaden.

Job description:

We are looking for someone who is responsible, flexible, and attentive. The job includes assisting the client with all daily routines, such as personal hygiene, meal intake, exercise, and transfers. Household chores may also be part of the duties.

Since the client is non-verbal, it is important to be skilled at reading signals and body language.

Your background:

We prefer that you have previous experience working as a personal assistant, or other experience in care and support, or are studying in the field. You enjoy working with people and have an empathetic ability. You are motivated to help the client make progress. You are used to working alone, so it is important to be able to take initiative and have some creativity. You need to be self-assured, have an inner calm, and a lot of patience to interpret and understand the client's signs and signals.

About the employment:

We are looking for an assistant who can work daytime, from 7:15 AM to 5:25 PM. The position is approximately 70% weekdays and every other weekend, starting immediately.

There is a dog in the home.
