The Individual and Family Administration is responsible for measures according to SoL and LSS, which include individual and family care and care for people with disabilities. Municipal citizens in need of social services can receive advice, support, and assistance. In most cases, our assistance and measures are provided after an individual assessment as part of our authority's exercise. We aim for the measures we provide to lead to independence.

The operations focus on measures for children, youth, and their parents, substance abuse issues, violence in close relationships, people with disabilities who need support in their daily lives, individuals in need of financial support, labor market measures, rehabilitation, and integration.

Group Home Hanemåla 1 is located in a cozy residential area in Hanemålaby with the forest right next door. Here, four unique personalities live in their own apartments, and there are all the conditions for a good life for residents and a fantastic working environment for employees. Nybro Municipality's group homes are aimed at adults with physical and mental disabilities aged 21 and older.

The work is scheduled for days, evenings, weekends, and on-call. Work every other weekend.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

You who are applying have a professional approach, are attentive and flexible, see opportunities, are responsible, and engaged. You have the ability to create contacts with individuals in the user's network and have a good collaboration with colleagues and supervisors. You can work independently and together with colleagues, you plan, implement, follow up, and evaluate measures. You work based on set goals, follow job descriptions/action plans, and use given working methods, approaches, and aids.

Your work includes helping and supporting individuals with delegated measures, personal care, household tasks, social measures, and safety-promoting measures.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education in care and nursing, child and youth education, or other training deemed equivalent by the employer is meritorious. Experience working with individuals with autism, epilepsy, or mental health issues is also meritorious, as well as having good knowledge of the target group for the Functional Support area. Personal suitability is of great importance.

Upon employment, a criminal record extract is required.
