Nybro Energi is the local and customer-oriented energy company that is 100% owned by Nybro municipality and has a politically appointed board.

Our mission is to offer electricity trading to customers throughout Sweden, provide fiber connections, district heating, electricity networks, as well as water and sewage services to large parts of Nybro municipality. We also produce electricity that corresponds to a quarter of the electricity consumption in Nybro municipality. In addition, we aim to keep reasonable prices for our customers. Job Responsibilities

You will be part of our dedicated operations department consisting of 11 employees responsible for all tasks related to energy recovery, district heating, and electricity production within Nybro Energi. Our production facilities currently include combined heat and power boilers fueled by both biomass and waste.

The position offers varied tasks ranging from monitoring and optimizing the daily operations of our production facilities to participating in repair work during corrective and preventive maintenance.

Shift work is included in the position.

Qualifications

We want you to have an ongoing or completed operations technician/engineer education or equivalent education with an energy focus. Experience with solid fuel and power production, control/regulation technology, and process/automation technology is advantageous, as is previous shift work.

A valid class B driver's license is required.
