Epiroc in Kalmar is facing the largest expansion in the company's 60-year history due to the consolidation of production within the group. Today, we manufacture world-leading hydraulic products for the mining and construction industries, and in the coming years, we will expand this range, which means growth in both capacity, personnel, and turnover. We will take on new techniques in processing and heat treatment, expand our assembly, and prepare our technical lab for testing and developing new, larger products.
Your team
As a Maintenance Technician Automation, you will be part of a team of four people where collaboration and short decision-making paths characterize the way of working. You will report to our maintenance manager and work closely with all functions within our production.
Your mission
The mission involves performing emergency and preventive maintenance on CNC machines for turning, grinding, milling, heat treatment, and all other production equipment. You will work both independently and together with other maintenance technicians in the team. We work in Effecto, which is our maintenance system where all work is documented. The role also includes participation in investment projects.
Your profile
To succeed in the role, we see that you have experience in automation, either through further education in the field combined with work experience, or through several years of practical experience in automation. It is advantageous if you have previous experience working with CNC machines, experience with automated systems in production environments, and knowledge or experience in robotics. You have good troubleshooting and schedule reading skills and are used to working with IT and maintenance systems. Knowledge in hot work, electricity, or scissor lifts is also an advantage. We consider it important that you have good communication skills in both Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing.
Location and travel
The position is located in Kalmar, Sweden. Working hours may vary over time, but the starting point is shift work, and standby duty is included during the high season. Some travel is included in the role.
Application and contact
Submit your application, including CV and cover letter, online via our website. We apply ongoing selection in this recruitment, so please apply as soon as possible. The last application date is January 26, 2025. For questions regarding the position, please contact Richard J Kling, Production Leader, [email protected] (mailto:[email protected]).
