We are now looking for you, a positive and engaged medical care administrator, interested in contributing to the development of the clinic's administrative unit. You enjoy diverse tasks and find it stimulating to have a rolling and varied weekly schedule. You are flexible and work well independently, but also have good collaboration skills.

You will be part of the administrative unit with eleven medical care administrators and a unit manager. We have a good collaboration with other professional categories in our care program groups and teamwork. There is an opportunity for remote work on certain days, and we also have an office space at Karlskoga Hospital part of the week.

The Urology department operates at two of the region's three hospitals, Örebro University Hospital and Karlskoga Hospital. We have a broad urological practice that includes both basic urology and most types of highly specialized urological surgery. We also have extensive research activities and an educational assignment within both nursing and medical education. At Örebro University Hospital, there is a care department, an operating department, a day surgery unit, shockwave treatment, an administrative unit, a research and development unit, and an outpatient clinic.

Örebro University Hospital (USÖ) is one of the three acute hospitals in the county where we provide advanced healthcare, research, and education. In both 2020 and 2019, USÖ received the prestigious award for Best University Hospital from Dagens Medicin. USÖ won the most significant category for medical quality, had the best results in the categories of accessibility, economy, as well as in avoiding pressure ulcers and overcrowding. USÖ also tops the results in the areas of heart, kidney failure, and vascular surgery. USÖ has about 3,500 employees. Job Responsibilities

In Urology Administration, we work with journal and patient documentation in both outpatient and inpatient care, certificates, referral management, document scanning, and mail handling. The medical care administrators have many individual areas of responsibility, especially within our five SVF (standardized care pathways) where they play a significant role as coordinators. We handle IT issues and orders, statistics, quality registers, preparations for rounds, waiting lists, and patient summons, follow-up of certain patient groups, and research administration. All medical care administrators receive internal training in diagnosis classification, and skills development occurs continuously.

Qualifications

Medical care administrator education, medical secretary training, or medical secretary education. You need to have good computer skills. We place great emphasis on personal qualities and are looking for someone who is flexible, independent, responsible, and structured.
