Your future tasks

As an export financing guide, you are EKN's extended arm and convey EKN's message to companies and export promoters primarily within the Örebro region. You will have an actively outreach role focused on increasing companies' and other stakeholders' awareness of EKN's offerings in the region. You will have many contacts with Swedish export companies within the SME segment as well as with companies in early stages.

As an export financing guide, you are expected to have a good local connection, and in your role, you will conduct many company visits and meet financiers and other stakeholders. Your work will involve developing cooperation with potential customers, establishing new contact points, and finding new business opportunities. This also includes presenting EKN's services in meetings with companies, subcontractors, and export promoters, as well as representing EKN at events, fairs, and other relevant forums. You will have close contact with our customers, and the position involves travel within Sweden, primarily within the region.

Your future team

The SME and Midcorp business area has offices in five locations in Sweden and works with companies that generate up to 5 billion SEK and local bank offices in the country. Customers are found in all industries and throughout Sweden. The work within the business area is characterized by many customer contacts and a high flow of international business that requires quick decisions. The work is done in close collaboration with EKN's lawyers and country risk analysts. Flow transactions dominate, but the business area also handles large and complex deals; no deal is too small or too large. Transactions vary in length and complexity and are present in all markets. Approximately 40 employees, primarily customer-responsible underwriters, work within the business area.

Your background

We are looking for someone with a university degree in economics. You should have solid work experience from startups as well as financing and investment activities and/or industrial companies. You need to have a good local connection within the Örebro region.

If you have a background in the automotive industry and related subcontractors, it is an advantage, as is experience in business establishment and board assignments.

Furthermore, you should have broad experience within the SME and Midcorp segment.

You are outgoing, driven, and capable of independently solving tasks. The work places high demands on responsibility, analytical ability, flexibility, and coordination skills. You will have many contacts and need to have good collaborative skills, as well as the ability to create, develop, and maintain good relationships with partners and customers. You have a high level of service both externally and internally, as well as a strong commitment and a desire to actively contribute to further developing the business. We expect you to have a genuine interest in Swedish entrepreneurship.

The work requires high communication and presentation skills in both speech and writing, as well as very good knowledge of Swedish and English.

Other

Part-time employment as needed with placement in Örebro. The position involves travel primarily within the Örebro region. A driver's license is required.
