The Municipal Executive Office is responsible for the management and coordination of all municipal activities.

Within the administration, there are units for administrative services, personnel, finance, communication, community management, quality, and IT.

Karlskoga Municipality's service center is the gateway for residents, business owners, or visitors to our municipality. We are now looking for an operations coordinator who wants to help provide our citizens with positive and professional service and contribute to the continued development of the operations. The service center is part of the municipal executive office responsible for the management and coordination of all municipal activities.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As an operations coordinator at Karlskoga Service Center, you will play a key role in improving and streamlining our work methods and driving digitalization development within the team. The role also includes an exciting and developing assignment as a system administrator, where you ensure that our systems function and are used effectively to best serve the municipality's residents.

QUALIFICATIONS

You have at least a high school diploma. You also possess basic computer skills.

You are proactive and responsible with a genuine interest in technical issues. You have strong social skills and enjoy collaboration, as well as seeing the value in developing together with others and understanding what customer focus means.

To succeed in the role, you need to be able to switch between a comprehensive perspective and the ability to delve into details, both zooming in and out. It is crucial that you can understand the needs of the operations and the people to ensure that the solutions you contribute create real value for both employees and residents.

We see that you are structured with a natural ability to handle a varied workload with many different tasks simultaneously. An important part of the role is to adapt your communication to different target groups to create both credibility and understanding for the information you convey. You master the Swedish language well in both speech and writing.

In addition, we value that you have a wise approach to your own work to develop both professionally and personally. You put the team before yourself and enjoy working in a team to achieve common goals.

Experience in system administration, public sector work, and/or project management is an advantage.
