About Adolfsberg Parish

Adolfsberg Parish is located in the southern parts of Örebro and is part of the Örebro parish. The parish has a strong tradition of good cooperation with people and organizations in the local area. Here, old culture meets new construction, and this is an expansive part of the city with many newly arrived families. Our church and parish hall are a combined rustic building from 1970 that is a meeting place for many. We are now looking for an administrator, is it you?

The role of an administrator in the parish is a key position with qualified and extensive tasks. The administrator coordinates a large part of the parish's administration and contacts, and plans and carries out certain work processes in consultation with the parish priest. This may involve work on operational planning and follow-up, planning and conducting staff meetings. The administrator also has contacts with other parties within the parish and in the local community, as well as responsibilities in certain personnel matters.

About the position

The position is a permanent full-time position. The work is mostly during the day, and we have flexible working hours. The work includes being a secretary in the parish council, working on financial planning and follow-up in the parish, responsibility for accounting, invoicing, collection reporting, and handling cash for the parish. Furthermore, the administrator coordinates bookings and statistics, advertising and sermon schedules, and some church bookkeeping. The responsibilities also include managing the parish's registry, mail and post handling, and responding to questions by phone and email. In addition, the administrator works one day a week in the parish's common office.

About you as a candidate

The work as an administrator requires good organizational and planning skills, accuracy, flexibility, stress tolerance, and communication skills. You have good teamwork skills and a drive for independent work.

We are looking for someone with a relevant university education and experience in administrative work. Your data knowledge is good, and your ability to use office 365 is excellent. It is a merit if you have worked in public 360. You also have experience in planning, leading, and carrying out work processes.

Experience in parish work within the Church of Sweden and experience in project work in various work groups is an advantage.

The position involves regular contact with children and young people, so you will be required to provide a criminal record extract if you are called for an interview.

You are a member of the Church of Sweden.
