We are an organization of 45 nurses working throughout the municipality on various assignments. Some are care responsible at special accommodations or in home healthcare, one group works nights and another group works in the resource team, which works evenings, weekends, and days.

JOB DESCRIPTION

As a nurse at Lindesberg municipality, you are responsible for the medical interventions. You are responsible for planning, leading, and executing health and medical care interventions based on our goals and guidelines, as well as participating in the improvement work of the organization. Training and guidance of staff is an important part of the work. You have close cooperation with doctors and regular rounds. Work in various registers such as SA, palliative, and BPSD is also included.

Close collaboration with the unit manager and occupational therapist in the unit is an important part of the work to provide a good everyday life and care for our individuals together with the staff.

The position is 100% and includes 40 hours/week, daytime, no public holidays. The introduction is adapted individually based on previous experience.

As a care responsible nurse at Lindesberg municipality, you will work with:

• being the "spider in the web" and collaborating with various professional categories (both internally and externally) regarding the individuals enrolled in home healthcare or in our special accommodations.
• being responsible for the medical interventions, which may include medication management, wound care, sampling, management of picc line, and palliative care.
• collaborating in a team with the unit manager, occupational therapist, and basic staff. Together with the team, you contribute to the development and quality assurance of the operations.
• guiding, delegating, and instructing basic staff in health and medical care work.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse. You should master Swedish in speech and writing and have good computer skills. A B driver's license is a requirement.

If you have specialist or advanced training as a district nurse, geriatric training, or dementia training, it is meritorious, as is the right to prescribe. It is an advantage if you have experience working with documentation in data systems, Lifecare, NPÖ, and national quality registers.

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
