Do you want to be part of Örebro Municipality's forefront in medically advanced care?
We at Tullhuset are now developing our operations forward, do you want to be involved?
About the position
We are facing challenges with an increasing number of severely ill citizens, and in order for us – as the municipality's largest short-term accommodation – to meet these challenges, we need to make changes! Therefore, we are now increasing our basic staffing and starting a collaboration with nurses within special accommodations in the municipality so that we can continue to focus on driving development forward. As a result, solo work during evenings and weekends will be eliminated, and the goal is to schedule every sixth weekend.
You will become part of our team where we collaborate across all departments at Tullhuset. You will have a very close collaboration with our occupational therapists, as well as with other professional groups such as nursing staff, physiotherapists, doctors, and unit managers. It is our close team collaboration that builds our entire operation! You work based on each individual's unique needs, and since our patients come and go to and from various actors, this leads to a lot of collaboration with others. This may involve specialist care at USÖ, Region Örebro County's primary care, home healthcare, receiving special accommodations, as well as the authorities' department.
Examples of tasks:
- decide, implement and follow up on nursing measures
- be responsible for guidance and education in nursing
- instruct and delegate health and medical care tasks to nursing staff
- contact and provide support to relatives
- document in various quality registers and operational systems
- participate in and drive continuous improvement and development of our operations
About the workplace
At Tullhuset, we run Örebro Municipality's largest short-term accommodation, which consists of four floors and a department at USÖ, department 40A. In total, we have 74 places, of which 12 are located at USÖ. Our entire operation is run in close collaboration with Region Örebro County and the geriatric clinic at USÖ, which provides the medical staffing and physiotherapists/rehab assistants. We have resources for investigating ongoing care and support needs, enhanced resources for rehabilitation, and continuous access to doctors during daytime, weekdays, as well as primary care on weekends and evenings. Our operations should be based on providing individuals with knowledge, good treatment, high participation, and continuity.
