Folktandvården Region Örebro län is now starting a certification training program in general dentistry in collaboration with Folktandvården Region Västernorrland and Folktandvården Region Västerbotten, and is seeking dentists for certification service in General Dentistry.

Certification Dentist in General Dentistry Job Responsibilities

The certification training aims to ensure that the necessary competence exists in Folktandvården's general dentistry. After completing the certification training, you will receive the title of senior dentist in general dentistry and will contribute to developing Folktandvården's organization through high clinical competence and patient-centered work within pediatric, adult, and geriatric dental care, knowledge dissemination, and supervision. In the role, you will also provide dental management support and conduct development at the clinic/unit level and overall level based on the organization's needs. The certification training in general dentistry for dentists lasts for at least three years through clinical service and theoretical education. The training is conducted at a clinic within general dentistry. The training takes place in close collaboration with other specialist training programs at the Dental Education Unit Folktandvården Region Örebro län and with the corresponding certification training in Folktandvården Region Västernorrland and Folktandvården Region Västerbotten. The employment is temporary with a start date according to agreement. The working hours are full-time. After completing the certification training, a permanent position as a senior dentist in general dentistry will be obtained at one of the clinics designated by the employer.

You have a clear interest in general dentistry and general dentistry issues. You also have a good ability to work independently and together with others. We value commitment to professional development and further education. As a person, you are empathetic and eager to make a difference for the organization and the patient. You have very good communication skills in Swedish and English, both spoken and written. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability. To be eligible, you must have worked as a general dentist for at least 2 years with experience in dental care for children, adults, and the elderly.
