We are looking for nurses with experience in hospital care for the neuro-intermediate care unit (NIMA). With us, both neurosurgical and general intermediate care patients are treated, providing a breadth of variation and the opportunity for specialized competence in neurosurgery. Intermediate care is an elevated level of care where our main task is to monitor and support failing vital functions.

As a nurse, you need to have good knowledge of breathing, circulation, and monitoring. We will help you acquire this knowledge through a long introduction that includes both clinical and theoretical training. We are looking for someone who wants a challenge and finds advanced care exciting. As a nurse, you will only be responsible for three patients together with a nursing assistant. Our patients are continuously monitored with ECG, saturation, pulse, arterial blood pressure, intracranial pressure, and neurochecks. Patients can also be treated with BiPaP and CPAP, but not invasive ventilators. The pace is varied, which leads to natural periods of recovery, contributing to a good working environment.

Education is a highly prioritized part of our operations, which we always ensure takes place. We have regular training every year to help you maintain and continue to increase your knowledge. There is also the opportunity to take external courses in our specialties. If you want to work with more advanced care as a general nurse, this is the right place for you.

The department is located at the top of building H and has six care places. We are a small staff group and constantly work on development projects, having together created a pleasant and stimulating workplace where everyone has the opportunity to grow and contributes with their various experiences and ideas. We are looking for employees who have an interest in emergency care, neurosurgery, and advanced nursing, and a strong desire to be a competent and professional nurse in intermediate care.
