We are looking for a psychologist for maternal and child health care in the southern part of the county, based in Hallsberg.

The psychologist clinic for maternal and child health care is a county-wide operation with three local clinics and a clinic in Örebro. The unit offers psychological services to pregnant/expecting parents and parents with children aged 0-6 years, as well as consultations for midwives and child health care nurses in Örebro County. The psychologist clinic consists of nine psychologist positions and a half unit manager position. The goals are to promote mental health and prevent mental ill health, provide early interventions during pregnancy, infancy, and preschool years, and disseminate psychological knowledge about becoming a parent, parenting, and child development from a societal perspective. The starting point is a salutogenic approach where protective factors are strengthened through high accessibility with early and brief interventions.

The work involves consultation, either in groups or individually, and continuing education aimed at maternal and child health (MHV) and child health care (BHV) staff, as well as assessments, support, and treatment of expecting parents, parents, and children aged 0-6 years who express a need for help and/or are referred by midwife clinics and child health centers. The work also includes collaboration with other operations within the region and municipalities. The psychologist clinic MBHV consists of a group of experienced psychologists who meet regularly for supervision and development work. The job requires travel and a driving license. The main work is based in Hallsberg with a centrally located workplace at the Family Center. The work as a psychologist within maternal and child health care is a county assignment, which means that the assignment may be transferred to other parts of the county depending on the needs of the operation.

Licensed psychologist. A requirement is good knowledge of speaking and writing in Swedish. A B driver's license is required for the position. Knowledge about small children and their development is an advantage, as well as experience in therapeutic and consultative work aimed at parents and professionals with a salutogenic health-promoting approach. Great emphasis is placed on personal qualities such as teamwork ability, initiative, flexibility, and independent organizational skills.
