The Education and Labor Market Administration is responsible for employment-promoting measures, integration issues, and education at the upper secondary and post-secondary levels. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Do you want a developing and meaningful job where you have influence over the financial processes of the Education and Labor Market Administration?

With us, you will have the important task of supporting and contributing to ensuring that managers and principals have a balanced budget.

You will work closely with two other controllers to support managers and principals in the administration. Your focus will primarily be on upper secondary schools, and as a controller with us, you are an important part of the team that supports managers and principals in financial matters. Your tasks will include budgeting, resource allocation, follow-up, year-end closing, analysis, and reporting. You will report to the administration's chief financial officer.

Your assignment includes working with a focus on development and being part of developing processes and routines to ensure quality in the operations.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with a degree in finance from a university or college and a few years of experience working as an economist or controller.

Experience working in public administration with a focus on the education sector is an advantage.

You have good knowledge of Excel and experience working with an accounting system. You have a strong ability to analyze extensive data and then clearly summarize the information for managers and principals.

To succeed in this role, you have a consultative working style, good collaboration skills, and find it easy to build good relationships.

You see the connection between finance, results, operations, and goal fulfillment, and you contribute with your pedagogical skills to create a good understanding of financial terms. Delivering good service and having a professional demeanor is a given for you. You have a strong ability to identify needs in the ongoing financial process and contribute with your own initiatives and take responsibility for executing actions in the financial process. You are a meticulous and responsible person who communicates in a professional and clear manner. We also appreciate if you are innovative and enterprising in your approach, which helps drive the operations forward to good results.
