You provide support and assistance to individuals with mental disabilities in their home environment. The work is independent, varied, and relationship-building, where you meet users in Råneå and surrounding areas.

You work pedagogically, motivating, low-arousal, and structured according to the National Board of Health and Welfare's guidelines and with the ESL (An Independent Life) method to promote activity, participation, and independence. The work is based on implementation plans and intervention calendars, where clear structure and continuity are central parts.

Your tasks include, among others:

• providing support in daily life through care, household chores, and practical tasks at home
• motivating and activating for a functioning daily life and meaningful activities
• providing support regarding medications and performing certain healthcare interventions according to delegation
• documenting according to applicable legislation and guidelines

An important part of the assignment is to create and maintain good relationships with users as well as to collaborate with colleagues, supervisors, and other internal and external actors regarding the interventions.

The work involves providing support in the user's home environment and, if necessary, collaborating with and receiving support from staff at Tallbo, for example, during interventions that require double staffing.

At the beginning and end of your shifts, you will start from Tallbo. During times when you do not have planned interventions with your users, you will work in the operations at Tallbo. Travel is part of the job, with intervention areas from Sundom to Niemisel. A company car is available.

A large part of the work is done independently, which requires responsibility, structure, and the ability to make your own decisions in everyday life.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with professional experience working with individuals who have mental, neuropsychiatric, and/or intellectual disabilities, as well as a genuine interest and commitment to working with people.

A B driver's license is required for the position, along with good digital skills, meaning you can use a computer, operational systems, and mobile phones without hindrance in your work. It is an advantage if you are trained as a support assistant or nursing assistant with knowledge in psychiatry.

You work in a structured manner and take responsibility for planning, implementing, and following up on your work. You are stable and secure in yourself, handle stress constructively, and meet people with patience, calm, and a motivating approach.

You enjoy both independent work and collaboration with others, contributing to a good collaborative climate with colleagues, supervisors, and other professionals. You have a good ability to observe needs, adapt your responses, and meet each individual based on their circumstances.
