Strömnäskyrkan is a vibrant Pentecostal congregation with a strong commitment both locally and globally. We are a community passionate about children and youth, mission work, and an inclusive church life. We are now seeking a Senior Pastor who shares our desire to see God's kingdom grow – in Piteå, in our region, and in the world.

We are looking for someone who:

• Is passionate about and has extensive experience in discovering, encouraging, and training new young leaders with the goal of shaping the next generation of leaders in our region.
• Wants to engage in work among children and youth, one of Strömnäskyrkan's core issues.
• Has training and experience in creating a safe and secure environment for children and youth, and wants to drive this work forward.
• Is accustomed to guiding pastoral students and finds joy in being a mentor and role model.
• Has experience in leadership roles within the global Pentecostal movement and therefore carries an international understanding and a universal heartbeat.
• Thrives in an internationally influenced environment with the ability to meet people from diverse backgrounds and life stories.
• Wants to work long-term in northern Sweden and appreciates the region's diversity in culture and community.
• Has a strong desire to spread God's kingdom and is eager to take initiatives that advance church life.
• Wants to function in a networking role and has the ability to develop cooperation between congregations in Piteå and northern Sweden.

About the congregation

The congregation is warm and welcoming with a clear vision of being a loving community with Jesus at the center. You will work in an environment that provides ample opportunity to develop leadership, drive visions, and strengthen various aspects of church life. You will be part of a team and a network of colleagues at local, regional, national, and global levels. The role of pastor combines a strong local anchoring with a broader, outward-looking focus.

Every week, Strömnäskyrkan gathers between 40 and 60 people for worship. Other weekly gatherings include prayer, Bible studies, youth meetings, and a rich singing and music life. We conduct extensive social work through our collaboration with PMU Second Hand and the local LP contact. We also help organize camps and conferences in collaboration with other congregations.

In addition, we have a comprehensive mission work, including in Honduras where the congregation's partner church is located.
