Job Description

We are looking for a support assistant/caregiver for daily activities (Lyckan). Working hours are scheduled Monday - Friday during the day. Participants in daily activities have different conditions and face various challenges, opportunities, and difficulties. As a support assistant, it is your task to support participants in their daily work in various ways through a pedagogical approach and a low-arousal response. We work with IBIC (individual needs in focus). The position includes, in addition to activities with users, creating implementation plans and documenting according to IBIC in our documentation system. The goal is to offer meaningful employment based on the individual's conditions and wishes. A large part of the work involves finding suitable tasks for participants and motivating them to progress in their development. Daily activities are in constant change, so you need to be flexible, have a creative view of your role, and be prepared for tasks and activities to change based on the participants' needs. The daily work consists of various activities, including social skills training, Lego work, training, outdoor activities, care, guidance in company-based activities, and securing internships together with one or more supervisors. There is also a user café and a laundry in the operation. Within the framework of the position, light cooking and baking, as well as folding and handling laundry together with our participants, occur. There are also some heavy lifts involved in handling food, cooking, handling industrial materials from Lego work, transportation, and laundry.

Qualifications

Care assistant training/nursing education. B driver's license for manual transmission. Experience from daily activities in the last 5 years.
