Fonus is looking for a mobile customer advisor for the Mellersta Upper Norrland district

A job close to life and death
As a customer advisor, you build trust and confidence with our customers and are the guide in a time that for many is filled with grief and uncertainty. Working with funerals is varied, eventful, and requires a good understanding of people's different needs. You take overall responsibility for planning and adapting the ceremony according to the customer's needs and wishes, while always having the support of colleagues who are close at hand. Some of the tasks include:
- Meeting relatives and providing advice on planning and conducting the funeral ceremony, including choosing the type of ceremony, coffins, urns, and other details
- Preparing cost estimates, handling invoicing and payments
- Coordinating and communicating with external suppliers such as florists, congregations, religious communities, and authorities
- Acting as a representative in churches, chapels, and other gathering places in connection with ceremonies
- Handling the deceased during pickups, personal farewells, and preparations for the ceremony
- Providing support and practical guidance to relatives throughout the funeral process, from the first meeting to subsequent follow-ups
We are now looking for a colleague for our Mellersta Upper Norrland district – a large area where our offices are represented with Kiruna in the north and Östersund in the south. We envision that you can start from one of our offices in either Skellefteå, Umeå, or Luleå.
The role of mobile customer advisor means that you will be moving throughout the entire district and helping us staff as needed, so it is important that you have a positive view of traveling and are flexible in this regard. At Fonus, we work as a team and help each other, which means you will be working with colleagues at several different offices.
The position is a permanent full-time employment with a start date to be agreed upon. Fonus applies a 6-month probationary period.
What you bring with you
- Experience in service and/or sales
- Experience working with a customer focus
- Documented experience of teamwork
- Good administrative skills and familiarity with various business systems as well as the Office suite
- Have a B driver's license, access to your own car, and be comfortable driving larger vehicles
We consider it an advantage if you speak multiple languages or have experience in our or related fields.
