Job Responsibilities
As a personal assistant, you will support the individual in their home, based on the user's needs and wishes. The job duties include practical tasks, personal care, medical interventions, leisure activities, and social contacts. You will be the support that the user needs to participate in all activities as much as possible and help ensure that the user has a good living situation.
Qualifications
You have completed education from the care program, child and leisure program, or a 1-year personal assistant training. Applicants with other education or experience that the employer considers equivalent may be eligible for employment. You have good knowledge of Swedish, both written and spoken. The work should be characterized by a pedagogical approach to support the user in maintaining their skills as much as possible. It is important that you feel secure in your professional role and can act professionally. We also expect you to be social, attentive, and proactive in activities with the user. We will place great emphasis on your personal qualities.
The work as a personal assistant requires good physical condition in terms of strength, endurance, and mobility. Since the work requires documentation, it is desirable that you have good computer skills. We prefer that you have a B driver's license and access to a car.
More About the Positions
Do you want to work as a personal assistant with a cheerful group of nice colleagues around you? What luck! We are currently recruiting a personal assistant for a man with a congenital disability living in Öjebyn. He shares accommodation with two others who also have personal assistance.
The position is approximately 70% scheduled for day, evening, and weekend shifts. Start date by agreement.
