About the Position
The Personnel Section of the Air Base Battalion is looking to strengthen its team with a conscript consultant. You will work closely with the military basic training operations and play an important role in the lives of our conscripts. The conscript consultant contributes with expertise support to the development of health-promoting and preventive work at the unit. The work takes place at the individual, group, and organizational levels. Coordinate and develop leisure activities for conscripts in Luleå. You will also participate in working groups and in training and information efforts regarding values, equal treatment/discrimination, and drug prevention measures. The conscript consultant is a point of contact in collaboration with other personnel groups and in cooperation with other actors, both internally and externally, such as municipalities, county councils, the Total Defense Recruitment Authority, the Social Insurance Agency, the Legal, Financial and Administrative Services Agency, Defense Health Services, among others.
Main Responsibilities
Your main tasks consist of;
- Being a consultative support to managers and commanders regarding matters concerning conscripts
- Participating in review boards with support to employers and conscripts
- Conducting group discussions, tripartite discussions, and support conversations with conscripts
- Lecturing on psychosocial issues related to conscripts
- Coordinating conscripts' leisure time together with Luleå Soldier Home
- Providing information on insurance issues/insurance coverage
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications
- Educated behavioral scientist/social worker or other university degree deemed equivalent by the employer
- A couple of years of relevant work experience
- Previous experience in conducting group discussions and support conversations
- Good knowledge of both Swedish and English in speech and writing
- Driver's license B

MERITORIOUS
- Completed basic military training
- Competence in crisis management
- Experience working with the Armed Forces' document and case management systems
- Experience with PRIO/SAP
- Good knowledge of the Armed Forces' operations

Internal training and travel in service may occur.
