ABOUT THE POSITION
Bättre Assistans is part of Inre Kraft and we are looking for someone who wants to work as a personal assistant for our client residing on Sävastön in Boden. Between 08:00-18:00, two assistants work simultaneously with the client. We are currently looking for a substitute who wants to work extra as needed.
The working hours are scheduled on both weekdays and weekends. The working hours are as follows:
08:00-18:00 (double assistance)
08:00-08:00 overnight (8 hours waiting time/overnight shift)
Start date is according to agreement, and we hope you can begin the introduction as soon as possible.
ABOUT THE CLIENT
Our client is a woman in her 50s who needs your help as an assistant to live the best life she wishes. As an assistant, you help her in her daily life with various tasks and activities, where you try to motivate her participation according to her abilities.
Listening to music, watching TV, and going for walks are activities that the client enjoys doing with you as her assistant. Our client has autism, Fragile X syndrome, and intellectual disabilities. She has reduced verbal ability and primarily communicates through sounds and body language. The assistance assignment is of a supervisory and guiding nature.
The job responsibilities include:
Support with daily routines, such as household chores and activities
Assistance with personal hygiene, dressing and undressing, and during meal situations
Motivation, guidance, and structure.
The client uses a wheelchair and electric wheelchair.

To thrive with our client, you should be confident in yourself, be a good team player who works well with your colleagues. You should be communicative and have a good ability to adapt your activity level to the client, as the work sometimes requires a lot of stillness and quickly shifts to activities that require supervision. You should have a good ability to read other people and enjoy working preventively. We also expect that you have basic cooking skills as it is important for the client to have home-cooked meals.

REQUIREMENTS
Very good knowledge of the Swedish language
QUALIFICATIONS
Previous experience as a personal assistant or in healthcare
Experience with autism/Fragile X/intellectual disabilities
Driver's license and access to a car
Basic cooking skills
Employment level: substitute.
Salary: We apply individual salary setting. Other compensations in accordance with collective agreements.
