Welcome with your application!

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Working with individuals with complex care needs regarding substance abuse and mental health issues largely involves a relationship-building approach in close collaboration with networks and other professionals. The work is varied as you meet different individuals with different needs and conditions, so it is essential that you can work flexibly and structured, and that you must be curious about the client you meet.

As rehabilitation staff, you will be part of our efforts to actively strengthen the individual's own resources. Support is tailored to the individual's needs and wishes and can therefore look very different.

Together with the individual, you will work to create motivation for change/development and help the individual develop their abilities to handle difficulties based on new strategies in everyday life. Being proactive and having a coaching approach based on a recovery-oriented method/MI (motivational interviewing) is part of the work, as well as being flexible and able to restructure the client's day based on their daily well-being.

Assist and guide in daily routines (e.g., ADL) based on the client's implementation plan & be a guide and mentor in social interactions with other clients or the community.

Care work is included, and the working hours are scheduled.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with at least a high school education in the Health and Care program or other education deemed equivalent by the employer.

It is an advantage if you have a degree from a 2-year post-secondary education at a folk high school or vocational college (KY/YH) focused on social pedagogical work or a degree from a university with a corresponding focus.

Previous experience in social psychiatry and LSS is also advantageous.

We strive for a staff group with diverse competencies. We place great emphasis on personal suitability where flexibility and initiative are important qualities. Furthermore, you have a professional approach, the ability to collaborate with the individual, relatives, representatives, colleagues, other professionals, and care neighbors. The work requires a structured and clear pedagogical approach with patience and attentiveness to engage, motivate, and guide.

We place great importance on personal suitability.

A driver's license (B) is required.
