Nuclear power has very low fossil footprints and is a stable and weather-independent energy source. Since 1980, our three production facilities have delivered climate-smart electricity every day, year-round.
Today, approximately 1,200 employees work at Forsmark, and we are part of the Vattenfall Group, which operates in a European labor market with opportunities for fantastic development for you as an employee. Our workplace is beautifully located along the lovely Roslagen coast.

Now you have the opportunity to do so at Forsmarks Kraftgrupp AB. We are working towards fossil freedom, and to achieve our goal, we need more engaged employees.
What Will You Do?
The group you will belong to is responsible for reactor safety issues. You will primarily work with analyses and reviews within probabilistic safety analysis (PSA) and reactor safety.
With us, you will be part of a team with an inclusive and supportive culture. The group consists of a diversity of individuals from different genders and age groups, with varying levels of experience.
The tasks within the PSA area include, among other things:
- Conducting various types of analyses and interpreting results
- Working within HRA (Human Reliability Analysis)
- Acting as a client
- Applying and evaluating requirements and standards
- Working on projects as technical support
- Coordinating and participating in the work to develop the facilities' safety reports.
We offer you a position in an exciting industry with great development opportunities. We provide a wide range of training and the possibility for rotation and internships in other units to develop and broaden your skills. For us, workplace satisfaction is important, and you will be welcomed by a friendly and pleasant atmosphere.
Requirements
We are looking for someone with an engineering degree or equivalent work experience that we assess as comparable. If you have education in nuclear technology and reactor safety, that is a significant plus. It is also an advantage if you have experience in PSA work or similar tasks within the nuclear industry. Experience in probabilistic analyses or other types of analyses from other industries is also considered valuable.
To fit into the role, you need to be analytical, structured, and quality-conscious, as well as able to communicate and share your knowledge and results with others. Since you will have many internal and external contacts, it is important that you have good collaboration skills. You enjoy working both independently and in a team towards set goals.
