Personal assistance is a service according to LSS (The Act on Support and Service for Certain Disabled Persons). As a personal assistant, you provide individual support and care to individuals who have been granted personal assistance because they need help with one or more basic needs. Each customer is unique, and your tasks will vary based on the customer's needs. You respect the customer's self-determination and privacy and contribute to making everyday life run smoothly.

About the position

The role of a personal assistant places high demands on the ability to create good relationships. Therefore, we are looking for someone who is attentive, engaged, and responsible, but above all, enjoys a fast-paced environment as the woman is very active. Some of the customer's activities include paraswimming, gymnastics, walking, and karate, so it is important that you have good physical fitness and can keep up with her active daily life.

We are now looking for someone who meets the following criteria:

• wants to work with a 38-year-old woman living in Klippan

• has a driver's license and access to a car

• has very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written

• has experience communicating with sign language and/or communication boards

• is a competent swimmer

• is smoke-free

• is energetic, cheerful, and proactive.

It is also an advantage if you:

• have experience in similar work

• share the customer's interests, which include an active lifestyle as well as computers, media, and video editing, which she spends a lot of her free time on and also works within.

The customer prefers female applicants, and great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Working hours, employment rate, and salary:

The current employment form is "As long as the assistance assignment lasts" and the position is approximately 45%. The job involves working on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday from 16:00 to 22:00. For a period of time, there will be opportunities to work more, with shifts from 08:00 to 16:00. There are no weekend or holiday shifts in this assistance.

Fixed hourly wage according to agreement and other compensations are in accordance with collective agreements.

Start date

Immediately or according to agreement.

Being employed at Humana

A prerequisite for starting an employment with us at Humana is that you can present a valid ID and any documents that prove your right to work in Sweden. To work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old.
