Kooperativet Hand i Hand is a member-driven organization established in 1995 for individuals entitled to assistance. Our members are located in Skåne, Halland, southern Småland, Västra Götaland, Stockholm, and Jämtland. We have offices in Halmstad, Hässleholm, and Malmö. We support our members with everything from applying for hours with Försäkringskassan/the municipality to personnel issues regarding personal assistants. We believe that the work of a personal assistant is one of the most important jobs there is, as it provides an opportunity for another person to live their life like everyone else.

We are looking for personal assistants for a 14-year-old boy with autism, ADHD, and an intellectual disability. Since assistance is new for him, you will come in at an early stage and have a great opportunity to help set a good standard for the assistance. He lives in Tyringe with his family and requires supervision during all waking hours, as well as support in daily activities to ensure things are done well. He is a very active boy who enjoys moving around. He needs to have some time alone but under supervision. He is very creative and has a great interest in creating, such as drawing, baking, playing with clay, and building things with paper or wood. He also enjoys stories, watching movies, and is interested in flags.

We are now looking for someone who is interested in stepping in as a substitute when our regular staff is sick or needs to be off.

If you have previous experience with low-arousal approaches, it is an advantage.
