Job Responsibilities

We are now looking for a primary school teacher for after-school care within the Tygelsjö principal area, where you will become part of a wonderful team striving for the best school for every student! As a primary school teacher in after-school care, you will plan and conduct teaching in our after-school program. Based on the school's governing documents, we together create a safe and meaningful environment to strengthen our students in both their knowledge development and personal growth. In our after-school care, we strive to create diverse contacts, social community, and strengthened group relationships. As a primary school teacher in after-school care, you see the student's whole day. During school hours, you collaborate with other school staff, where it may also be relevant for you to teach one or more subjects. Together, we create an operation that meets our students and guardians in the best way based on their individual needs!

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is engaged and qualified/certified as a primary school teacher for after-school care and who wants to help shape the future for our students. You have good insight and knowledge regarding the school's governing documents and the ability to apply these in daily work. You can lead and organize your work to create a safe and stimulating learning environment both during the student's school hours and during after-school care. You have a good ability to apply a low-arousal approach and have an inclusive attitude towards both the student group and the individual needs of students. Building good relationships with guardians, students, and colleagues is natural for you. If you have previous experience working as a primary school teacher in after-school care and have subject qualifications, we consider this an advantage.

About the Workplace

The Tygelsjö principal area is located in the picturesque Tygelsjö, about 10 minutes by bus from Hyllie station. The principal area consists of four units: Tygelsjö School 1 with grades F-1, Tygelsjö School 2 with grades 2-3, Pilbäck School with grades 4-9, and Tygelsjö School's adapted primary school. Approximately 825 students attend the principal area. You will be employed in the principal area and may work within any of our units. Tygelsjö is a residential area consisting of an older center surrounded by newly built areas. We have high qualifications among our teachers and high goal fulfillment and gymnasium eligibility among our students. Our school is characterized by great safety and well-being as well as good community between teachers and students.
