RESPONSIBILITIES

You will be the driving force in the process of creating a coherent thread for study and career guidance activities together with teachers, ensuring that our students become competent in their choices before high school and future career paths. A significant part of your work consists of guidance conversations. You will guide both individually and in groups, collaborate with mentors and school management, and help develop the school's guidance efforts. Your tasks also include coordinating and organizing internships, providing information before language selection, and being responsible for activities related to workplace knowledge. You will be part of the school's student health team.

You will collaborate with the local community and external actors in various networks, such as Landskrona City's project KNUT (Knowledge Business Education Together). Internally, you will collaborate with teachers and student health staff, maintain contact with guardians, and be part of Landskrona City's network for study and career counselors. You will have great opportunities to shape and influence your assignment.

We are looking for someone who is a qualified study and career counselor and has experience working as a study and career counselor in primary school. You are creative and driven by working with people with different experiences and needs, and you see solutions for individuals. As a study and career counselor, you will be working independently, so you need to have the ability to structure and plan your work within given time frames. The job involves many contacts, so we prefer that you are relationship-building and have strong communication skills, ensuring that the message is clear and meaningful. You have a flexible approach and the ability to view things from a new perspective.

This position currently encompasses 30%.
