ABOUT THE POSITION

We at Kura Omsorg are looking for an engaged personal assistant for one of our clients in Sollentuna. We offer a temporary position where you step in as needed. We would like you to be able to start the introduction as soon as possible.

Possible working hours:

• We primarily see that you can work every other Saturday from 14:00 to 20:30.

• In addition, working hours on weekends from 8:00 to 14:00, 14:00 to 20:30, and weekdays from 16:25 to 20:30 may occur.

ABOUT THE CLIENT

Our client is a cheerful, playful, and active 12-year-old girl living in Sollentuna with her family. She has balance and coordination difficulties as well as autism and communicates through gestures, sounds, pictures, and sign language support. As an assistant, you will support the user in daily activities such as personal hygiene, dressing and undressing, meal situations, and in developing communication. A central part of the assignment is to contribute to an active and meaningful life through activities that the user enjoys, such as swimming, gymnastics, and playground visits. There is a dog in the home, so it is important that you feel comfortable with dogs nearby.

ARE YOU THE ONE WE ARE LOOKING FOR?

As a personal assistant in this assignment, a genuine interest in working with people is required. It is important to be attentive, responsible, patient, and positive. We are looking for someone who retains a childlike spirit, can stimulate play and learning, and engages in leisure interests such as swimming and sports. The role of a personal assistant involves significant responsibility and requires respect for both the client's and the family's privacy. The client requests only female assistants.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Good knowledge of the Swedish language

• Non-smoker

• Experience working with autistic individuals

• Can tolerate pets/ not afraid of dogs

PREFERABLE

• Previous experience as a personal assistant for children

• Pedagogical skills

• Knowledge of TAKK (sign language as an alternative and complementary communication)
