Department of Molecular Biosciences, Wenner-Gren Institute (MBW)

conducts experimental basic research in molecular cell biology, integrative biology, and infection and immunobiology.

The research environment is characterized by modern and advanced methodologies and has a strong international profile. MBW is one of the larger departments within the Faculty of Science at Stockholm University, with over 30 research groups and approximately 180 employees, of which about 50 are PhD students. Job Responsibilities

The work involves conducting scientific research on the development of mammalian reproductive systems. The project aims to achieve a mechanistic understanding of how the fates of epithelial cells are specified in the developing reproductive system. The experimental methods involve ex vivo and in vivo genetic techniques combined with advanced genome profiling technologies.

Qualifications

We are looking for candidates with extensive experience in mouse work, molecular biology, and imaging techniques. Criteria used to assess this capability include the applicant's documented subject knowledge relevant to the research area.

About the Employment

The position is full-time and is limited until 2026-12-31. Stockholm University applies individual salary setting. Start date is 2026-02-26 or by agreement.
