About the position

ME Clinical Chemistry conducts highly specialized laboratory operations within section 9Fem, performing analyses in the areas of special immunochemistry, protein, special coagulation, and colorectal cancer diagnostics (fHb screening). Our operations are characterized by quality assurance, traceability, and continuous improvement work.

The work involves highly specialized analytical work with modern methods and a well-developed IT support, in close collaboration between laboratory staff, doctors, and chemists. The operations are permeated by quality assurance and traceability.

Responsibilities include:

  • Sample handling, analytical work, and result reporting
  • Quality work, documentation, and traceability
  • Operation, maintenance, and management of laboratory equipment
  • Work with manual and automated analytical methods
  • Introduction and supervision of students and colleagues
  • Participation in the improvement and development work of the operations

The position is a permanent employment located in Solna.

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Licensed biomedical analyst or other relevant higher education
  • Good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both spoken and written

Meritorious:

  • Experience of laboratory work in clinical chemistry
  • Knowledge of laboratory information systems (LIS)
  • Experience in instrument handling
  • Experience in method development
