Specialist in General Medicine at Tensta Health Center

We want to expand our team and are now looking for another Specialist in General Medicine!

About the position:

You will work independently in outpatient care but also as a backup where you will support younger colleagues and nursing receptionists as needed on certain days. Primary care is undergoing significant changes, and you are welcome to be part of the work on how the operations can be improved both medically and in other areas such as work environment and organization.

We offer the opportunity to manage your own schedule and workday, contributing to a better work environment. If desired, there is also the possibility of remote work for certain periods. We also have a longer consolidated administration time of 3.5 hours per week in addition to daily administrative tasks.

To achieve high patient safety and a good work environment, professional development must also be prioritized. We work with individual development plans and offer the opportunity for external training of up to two weeks per year. The knowledge gained will be shared with the rest of the staff.

About Tensta Health Center:

The health center is located in the heart of Tensta, just a stone's throw from the subway and buses. It is the largest health center in Tensta with approximately 8,200 registered patients.

At the health center, there are standard clinics according to the primary care assignment, such as asthma/COPD, diabetes, district nursing, home care, and elderly care.

For several years, we have also been working in the Health-Promoting Primary Care assignment. We also have a rehabilitation coordinator on site one day a week. Psychosocial work is also carried out where a social worker, psychologist, and nurse are part of the team.

We have a close collaboration with Spånga Tensta BVC located in the Family Center just near the health center. Together, we are about 35 employees. We maintain a balanced economy and a local management system that ensures quality in operations. Here you can read more about us:

Qualifications:

We are looking for you who are a specialist physician in general medicine.

Employment form:

Permanent employment. Full-time, working hours can be discussed, daytime. A probationary period may be applied. Start date according to agreement.

Personal qualities:

You are driven and interested in working in a team with great commitment and a good attitude towards patients, colleagues, and healthcare neighbors. You have a desire to try new technology and new working methods to best meet our patients and, together with the team, create an even better work environment. Great importance will be placed on personal suitability.
