Are you our next IT star?
We are looking for two dedicated and skilled IT technicians, one of whom will also take on the role of team leader for our IT support. With us, you step straight into a municipal operation where engaged employees, community benefit, and individualized service are in focus. We are a team where learning and joy at work go hand in hand, and we believe in creating a work environment where everyone supports each other for the best possible assistance to our politicians, employees, and students.
If you love to dive deep into technical solutions and want to make a difference every day, then you have found the right place!
Job Responsibilities
You will be part of a group of four technicians working with IT support for politicians, employees, and students in the municipality's schools and preschools. Additionally, we manage the municipality's telephony and AV equipment in the municipal house's meeting rooms. The assignment for our internal IT support will expand at the turn of the year 2026/2027 as we are facing a change of IT service provider and we will gradually take over IT support for our administrative staff's IT equipment. Your responsibilities will be challenging, broad, and varied.
About the Workplace
The Municipal Executive Office's mission is to lead, coordinate, and follow up on the municipality's operations. We ensure that the municipality functions efficiently and that residents receive the service they need, while we in the Department for Support and Development support elected officials and administrations.
As an IT technician, you will be based in the municipal house, where we have our IT workshop, and you will visit preschools and schools to pick up and drop off IT equipment as well as provide on-site support when needed. Additionally, you will participate at regular intervals in municipal council meetings to assist our politicians with their iPads before the meetings start.
To succeed in this role, you have:
- a high school education, preferably from the Electrical and Energy program with a focus on computer and communication technology or an education deemed equivalent by the employer
- experience working with case management systems
- knowledge of application packaging and distribution
- skills in troubleshooting and support for end-users (staff and students)
- experience with onsite support, as a large part of our work is on-site support in the municipality's schools and preschools
- In the role of team leader, it is important that you have previously led a team of IT technicians while also being able to handle the role of technician. About 20% of your working time will be as a team leader.
It is an advantage if you have:
- experience with AV systems and registration in device registers
- knowledge of Intune, Win 10/11, iOS, Android, AD, M365
- experience with drivers and firmware
Personal Qualities We Are Looking For

With your unpretentious attitude and willingness to help, you create strong bonds both within and outside the team.
