Research and Education in Chemical Engineering

We conduct research and education in the fields of physics, chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, mathematics, technical design, engineering physics, and subject didactics in mathematics and natural sciences. Job Responsibilities

As a teaching assistant, you will have the opportunity to enhance your qualifications and deepen your skills in research in chemical engineering.

The position may also include teaching in laboratories and administrative tasks.

Eligibility and Qualifications

You must be enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s program at Mid Sweden University. Additionally, you should have completed at least 60 credits in chemical engineering.

Assessment Criteria

The assessment criteria applied in the selection process are your academic merits, experiences, and suitability in relation to the courses to be supervised. Previous experience in laboratory research work with cellulose-based materials is an advantage.

Personal Attributes

You have good oral and written skills in Swedish and English. You are accustomed to working in groups and planning your studies well. Special emphasis will be placed on personal attributes during recruitment.

Processing

Employment and Start Date

The position comprises 10-30% of full-time during the period 2026-02-02 – 2026-12-31 or as agreed.
