Payroll Services consists of 13 payroll consultants who work in teams around all registrations and controls that are made to ensure that the correct salary is paid to all employees within Region Västernorrland. We are continuously working to develop and improve our payroll processes to provide the best possible support and service to the operations.

We have bright and pleasant premises in Örnsköldsvik in a building called Skeppet, behind the hospital.

We are looking for a payroll consultant for Payroll Services based in Örnsköldsvik. To thrive in this role, the ability to work under some pressure and prioritize tasks is required. This is because you work towards a deadline before each payroll payment. We expect you to have a methodical approach and good collaboration skills. You perform your work independently and contribute ideas and suggestions for operational development.

The position is a permanent full-time employment with a start date according to agreement.

Payroll Consultant for Payroll Services, Örnsköldsvik

As a payroll consultant in Region Västernorrland, you have an important role! You will have close contact with managers within your area of responsibility consisting of several operations and support them in the work with payroll registration and questions related to the payroll area. You will be part of the Payroll Services telephone support for employees and answer questions.

Other tasks you will perform include:

• Checking data in the payroll system
• Corrections in the payroll system
• Checking submitted documentation
• Registration of manual documentation
• Support and assistance to employees within the region.
• Training/support for new managers
• Participating in various working groups for operational development
• Issuing various certificates regarding salary and employment

You will receive an introduction from the regular payroll consultant where you will gradually take over tasks and learn the payroll system and routines in the daily payroll work.

We are looking for someone who

• Has a complete upper secondary education
• Has good computer skills
• Has good knowledge of Word and Excel
• Has good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing

It is advantageous if you

• Are an educated payroll specialist or have another equivalent education
• Have experience in payroll work and the personnel system Heroma or another payroll system
